Special Delivery!
It's a lot of fun getting and sending mail. Way back when, there were birds (pigeons) who were trained to deliver messages to people. There were also horseback riders, who would travel long distances. They delivered mail for those who wrote letters and invitations to their families and friends. It could take weeks even months before you'll receive the letter. Good news is you don't have to wait for mail or packages that long. With the help of trains, cars, & planes, you can expect the delivery sometimes within a few hours. You can even send mail through the web. This is called an "Email."
